摘要:
塔尔科特·帕森斯作为社会学功能主义分析流派的代表人物,在高等教育研究领域做出了重要贡献。基于“四功能范式”理论和“象征性流通媒介”理论,帕森斯对美国高等教育的历史转型、文化基础、动力过程、约束机制与现实冲突等主题进行了系统而深入的探讨。认知理性以及与之紧密联系的科研活动是美国高等教育的价值内核与重要功能,并对大学的组织结构与运行过程产生深刻影响。在当今国际学术界复兴帕森斯社会学理论的热潮中,应当继承和发展其高等教育思想的学术遗产。
Abstract:
The slow progress of comprehensive reform of higher education suggests that the autonomy of running higher education in colleges and universities cannot survived from the ending of “chaos and death”. This is mainly due to the f dilemma of a double logic of reform thinking--the logic of control and the logic of governance. This dual logic has caused that the education reform of higher education in As the leading figure of functionalism analysis in sociology, Talcott Parsons has made important contributions to the field of higher education research. Based on the theory of “the four-function paradigm” and “symbolic circulating medium”, Parsons conducted a systematic and in-depth discussion on the themes such as historical transformation, cultural foundation, dynamic process, constraint mechanism and realistic conflicts in American higher education. Cognitive rationality and closely related research activities are the core value and important function of American higher education, which have a profound impact on the university's organizational structure and operational process. In the context of a revival of interest in Parsons`s theoretical project, both in the United States and Europe, the legacy of his higher education thought should be inherited and developed.As the leading figure of functionalism analysis in sociology, Talcott Parsons has made important contributions to the field of higher education research.
