本研究基于2009-2022年我国31个省份的面板数据,构建中国高等教育投资效率的评价指标体系,并据此探讨高等教育投资效率时空分异格局及空间关联性,识别其空间分异的影响因素及其交互作用。研究发现,我国高等教育投资效率总体上达到较高水平,在时间维度上展现出明显的阶段性特征,在空间维度上则呈现出一定的空间异质性;高等教育投资效率的时空分异性受财政支持力度、经济发展水平、科技偏好度和信息化水平等多种因素的显著影响。鉴于此,建议加强技术创新与应用,持续赋能高等教育投资效率;推动政府与高校双轮驱动,促进区域协调发展;完善政策间协同机制,提供全面支持保障。
Abstract:
This study, based on the panel data of universities in 31 provinces across China from 2009 to 2022, constructs an evaluation index system for the efficiency of higher education investment, explores its spatiotemporal differentiation patterns and spatial correlations, and identifies the influencing factors and their interactive effects. The findings indicate that the overall efficiency of higher education investment has reached a highly effective level, showing distinct phased characteristics over time and certain spatial heterogeneity. The spatiotemporal differentiation of higher education investment efficiency is significantly influenced by multiple factors, including fiscal support intensity, economic development level, technological preference, and informatization level. In light of these findings, it is advisable to enhance technological innovation and application to continuously empower investment efficiency; government and higher education institutions joint efforts to promote regional coordinated development; and deepen the synergistic effects of policies to provide comprehensive support and guarantees.
