20世纪70年代初,马丁·特罗提出了高等教育发展的三个阶段理论,这一理论在国际高等教育界产生了较大的影响,并被许多国家作为制定高等教育发展政策的重要理论依据之一,但它也有较大的局限性。在进入21世纪之际,高等教育面临着许多影响其进一步发展的矛盾和问题,不利于教育的发展,并影响经济、社会等方面的健康发展。可以认为,高等教育在经过上世纪较快的发展后,进入了一个新的阶段——21世纪高等教育现代化阶段。本文在对高等教育发展的三个阶段理论进行简要的评价后, 讨论了高等教育发展进入新阶段面临的问题,并进一步分析了21世纪高等教育现代化阶段的内涵及特点, 最后,简要地提出了当前高等教育发展现代化阶段的目标和任务。
Abstract:
In the early 1970s,Martin trow put forward the theory of three stages of the development of higher education, this theory has a large impact in the international higher education community, and is seen by many countries as one of the most important theoretical basis for designing development policies. Entering the21century, higher education faces many contradictions and issues that affect their further development, is not conducive to the further development of higher education and affect the healthy development of economic, social and other aspects. It can be argued that higher education after a fast development of the last century, has entered a new stage of development, the development of higher education in21century modernization stage.
