新工科研究与实践项目是推动工程教育深化改革、赋能培养大批卓越工程师的关键举措。采用第二批新工科研究与实践项目的优秀案例,基于新理念、新结构、新模式、新质量和新体系“五新”理念,对我国新工科研究与实践的成效及未来发展方向进行综合研判。研究发现,新工科研究与实践项目在理念引领维度加快工程教育范式更迭,创新高校改革实践方案;在结构优化维度以三重逻辑优化专业布局,建立专业动态调整机制;在模式创新维度探索多元融合培养路径,构筑人才培育新型生态;在质量提升维度全面加强质量文化建设,促进工程教育持续改进;在分类发展维度践行差异化特色发展策略,打造分类协同培养体系。基于此,未来新工科建设应加快形塑融合创新的新工科教育范式,能力导向培育新时代卓越工程师;健全传统工科专业改造升级机制,增设具有院校与区域特色的新工科专业;建大建强现代产业学院,推动全过程各主体深度产教融合;建构工程教育三级认证标准体系,完善认证标准有效衔接机制。

The emerging engineering education research and practice projects are key measures to promote the reform of engineering education and empower the cultivation of outstanding engineers. Based on the “five new” concepts (new philosophy, new structure, new model, new quality, and new system), this study uses excellent cases from the second batch of projects to comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness and future development direction of emerging engineering education in China. It is found that in the dimension of concept guidance, the projects accelerate the paradigm shift of engineering education and innovate university reform plans; in the dimension of structural optimization, they optimize the professional layout with a triple logic and establish a dynamic adjustment mechanism; in the dimension of model innovation, they explore diversified integrated cultivation paths; in the dimension of quality enhancement,they strengthen quality culture construction to promote continuous improvement;and in the dimension of classified development,they practice differentiated development strategies to create a collaborative training system.Accordingly, future emerging engineering education should accelerate the formation of an integrated and innovative educational paradigm,cultivate new-era outstanding engineers with a capability-oriented approach,improve the upgrading mechanism for traditional engineering majors,establish new engineering majors with institutional and regional characteristics strengthen modern industry colleges to promote deep industry-education integration,and construct a three-level certification standard system for engineering education with effective linkage mechanisms.
