摘要:
大学社区参与作为高等教育社会服务职能的新范式,受其理论基础决定和实施模式演进塑造,呈现出鲜明的本土化指向特征。新知识生产、公民责权与合伙参与观作为大学社区参与的理论基础,诠释了大学应首先聚焦所在地区的实际问题并形成本土化知识,最终促进高等教育对于整个人类社会发展的引领与变革。大学社区参与从最初的社会服务模式,发展为扩展服务模式,以至成型于大学社区参与模式,阐释了本土化的“参与”是大学基于合伙与互惠原则,尽可能以其本土化知识和资产为内部动力促成参与的可持续性发展。随着社区内涵和外延在我国社会情境下的廓清,大学社会服务职能将转向大学社区参与,并满足一流大学建设和服务地方经济社会发展的新时代需要。
Abstract:
As a new paradigm of social service function of higher education, university community engagement is shaped by its theoretical basis and the evolution of its implementation mode, and has a distinct localization orientation. As the theoretical basis for university community participation, the concepts of new knowledge production, civic responsibility, and partnership engagement argue that universities should first focus on the actual problems in the region and develop indigenous knowledge, and finally promote leadership and reform in higher education to develop the whole of human society. The university community’s participation has evolved from an initial social service model to an outreach service model, and finally to the university community engagement model. The evolution elucidates that the localized “engagement” is based on the principles of partnership and reciprocity, and that the university seeks to promote the sustainable development of engagement through its localized knowledge and assets as the internal driving force. With clari?cation of the connotation and denotation of “community” in the Chinese social context, the university’s social service function will shift to university community engagement, meeting the needs of building ?rst-class universities and serving local economic and social development.
