本文将公共教育投入与教育满意度相结合,利用2012-2020年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)以及相关统计年鉴数据分析公共教育投入对家庭的教育满意度影响。研究发现:第一,公共教育投入能够显著提升家庭的教育满意度。第二,两者间影响存在异质性,对农村家庭、低收入家庭和低学历家庭的提升效果明显高于城市家庭、中高收入家庭及高学历家庭。第三,教育供给质量、家庭教育负担和子女学业表现是两者间重要影响机制。为进一步提高宏观教育财政政策与微观家庭教育感受间的适配性与一致性,应持续增加公共教育投入,注重家庭差异性特征;多措并举提升教育供给质量;减轻家庭教育负担,释放家庭活力。
Abstract:
This study integrates public education investment with educational satisfaction, drawing on data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) spanning 2012-2020 and relevant statistical yearbooks to analyze how public education investment impacts families’ educational satisfaction. The findings are as follows: First, public education investment significantly enhances families’ educational satisfaction. Second, this impact exhibits heterogeneity: the enhancing effect is significantly stronger for rural, low-income, and low-education families than for their urban, middle-to-high-income, and high-education counterparts. Third, the quality of educational service provision, family educational burden, and children’s academic performance serve as key mechanisms linking the two. To further enhance the alignment and consistency between macro-level education fiscal policies and micro-level families’ educational experiences, we recommend the following measures: continuously increasing public education investment while accounting for heterogeneous family characteristics; adopting multiple strategies to improve the quality of educational service provision; and alleviating family educational burdens to unleash family vitality.
