随着人工智能技术,特别是生成式人工智能技术的发展,我们需要重新思考人与机器的角色,探索如何利用这些技术赋能教育,使其成为推动教育变革的重要引擎,共同塑造数字教育教学的新模式。中国高校计算机基础课程教学从早期最基本的计算机办公操作能力的普及阶段,到强调信息技术的科学性和技术性,再到突出计算思维的培养,这一过程揭示了计算机基础教育在适应社会发展和技术进步中的变革。数字时代人工智能技术进一步推动了信息获取的便捷性,也对知识的深度理解、批判性思维、创新思维和终身学习能力提出了更高的要求。清华大学计算机基础课程利用AI赋能教学取得了良好的成效,并激发学生的学习兴趣和创新思维。清华大学课程案例不仅反映了AI技术在教学设计中的创新应用,也体现了教育工作者面对AI技术的角色转变,即从传统的知识传递转变为学习引导,以及“教师、AI助教”协作教学。面对AI技术的挑战与机遇,教育界需不断探索和适应,以促进学生和教师共同发展。
Abstract:
With the development of artificial intelligence technology, particularly generative AI technology, it is imperative to reassess the roles of humans and machines, explore how to harness these technologies to empower education, and make them an important engine to promote educational reform, thereby co-creating new models for digital education. This article revisits the evolution of computer fundamentals teaching in Chinese universities over the past three decades. Subsequently, the new demands for computer literacy education in the digital age are discussed. Through a case study of the computer fundamentals course at Tsinghua University, the practical implementation and outcomes of AI-enhanced teaching are analyzed, including the stimulation of students’ learning interest and innovative thinking. The Tsinghua University course case not only showcases the innovative application of AI technology in teaching design but also reflects the role transition of educators in the face of AI technology, from traditional knowledge transmission to learning guidance, and collaborative teaching between teachers and AI teaching assistants. Facing with the challenges and opportunities presented by AI technology, the education community must continuously explore and adapt to promote the joint development of students and teachers.
