摘要:
“学术资本主义”概念表明了美国高校在高等教育系统从政治性协调到市场化协调转变过程中所表现出的利益偏好。美国学术资本主义的形成,并非是政府削减公共开支导致的被动性适应,而是美国高校在政府干预不断强化的情况下,为寻求自治而主动做出的发展性选择。美国学术资本主义的产生对我国高等教育改革发展具有重要启示意义:一是要进一步扩大和落实高校办学自主权,将高校建设成为面向社会依法自主办学的法人实体;二是要加快建设创业型大学,着力活化学术资本,促进高校科研成果的现实转化。
Abstract:
The concept of “academic capitalism” shows the interest preference of American universities in the process of transition from political coordination to market coordination in the higher education system. The formation of American academic capitalism is not a passive adaptation caused by government cuts in public expenditures, but a developmental choice made by American universities to seek autonomy under the circumstance of increasing government intervention. The emergence of academic capitalism in the USA has important implications for the reform and development of China higher education: first, it is necessary to further expand and implement the autonomy of universities, and to govern universities as a legal entity that running schools independently by the law for the society. Second, it is also important to accelerate the construction of entrepreneurial universities, focus on activating academic capital, and promote the actual transformation of scientific research results of universities.
