本文聚焦工程科技人员的跨文化能力建设问题,提出了态度、认知和技能三个维度的分析框架,并对“一带一路”建设项目外派的工程科技人员进行了深度访谈。研究发现,工程科技人员跨文化能力虽然表现在显性技能上,但具有深层结构,受到个体跨文化认知、主动适应能力与尊重开放态度的综合影响。加强能力建设,补齐我国工程科技人员的跨文化能力短板,是当前工程教育改革亟待关注的命题。
Abstract:
This research focuses on the cultivation of intercultural competence of Chinese engineering staff who work in “the Belt and Road” countries by in-depth interview. The analysis of intercultural competence of Chinese engineering staff is based on the dimensions of intercultural attitudes, cognition and skills. The research finds that the intercultural competence of Chinese engineering staff was affected by respectful attitudes, cross-cultural cognition and adaption skills. The intercultural competence is composed of in-depth structure and demonstrated with behavioral skills and techniques. Overcoming intercultural competence deficiency of Chinese engineering staff is expected to be the main concern of higher engineering education reform.
