运用实证研究方法对北京7所不同类型高校的643名国际学生进行调研,从人口学特征、人力资本、所在高校特征三个维度探讨国际学生来京留学的感知与体验,剖析国际学生对北京高校留学环境的满意度状况。研究显示:来京留学的国际学生对北京高校留学环境持较高评价,对教学的满意度显著高于教学服务辅助的满意度,不同人口学特征、人力资本特征以及不同学校类型的国际学生对北京高校留学教育环境的评价存在显著的差异。北京高校留学教育应加强信息化建设,重视国际学生的教学与生活辅导辅助,加强学科建设,以进一步提升北京国际学生教育的竞争力。
Abstract:
Using an empirical research method, this study gives an in-depth discussion on the perception and experience of 643 international students studying in 7 universities in Beijing. It analyzes international students’ satisfaction on teaching-learning environment from the perspectives of demographic characteristics, human capital characteristics, and the university type. Findings show that: international students overall give high evaluation on the teaching-learning environment in Beijing, while their satisfaction on student service is relatively lower. There are significant differences in the evaluation on education environment among students with different demographic and human capital characteristics, as well as among students from different types of universities. To strengthen the competitiveness of the international education in Beijing, colleges and universities should devote more effort on information construction, the construction of first-class universities and disciplines, and academic and non-academic services for international students.
