摘要:
本文对美国基金会教育援助的动机及其策略进行了探讨。美国基金会进行对外教育援助,不仅是为了履行其作为慈善机构的使命,也夹杂着对商业利益与国家利益的追逐。美国基金会对教育援助项目的选择主要基于援助对象的地缘战略意义及其能够产生的外溢影响,并通过网络化使援助项目效益最大化。
Abstract:
This paper probes into the motivation and strategies of American foundations’ educational aid, and points out that the motivation of American foundations’ educational aid is not only to carry out their missions, but also to pursuit their business interest and national interest of the U.S.. The foundations decide which projects to aid based on the geo-strategic significance and potential spill-over effect of the projects, and maximize the influence through networking among different scholars, different academic organizations, different universities and so forth.
