本文厘清了我国现代大学书院制产生的制度渊源和兴起动因,分析现代大学书院制的西方理论溯源和中国因应实践,讨论我国现代大学书院制的建构模式和各类功能定位。论文揭示出中国现代大学的建构模式呈现外在多样化,而内核趋于模仿性同构;培养定位存在多重培养功能,但核心定位模糊;组织定位下,书院处于双院组织中,双院协同难;文化定位中,书院处于儒家文化与西方文化,职业文化与通识文化的多维冲突中;课程定位缺乏整体性的顶层设计。在此基础上,论文从精神内涵、组织机构、内生动力、社会认可等方面指出了我国现代大学书院制面临的现实困境和挑战。本文通过深入剖析现代大学书院制的理论与实践,旨在为我国自主构建现代大学书院体系提出参考和建议。
Abstract:
With clarifications of the Western theoretical origins and motivations for the emergence of the Shuyuan College in China, this study discusses the construction model and functional orientations of the Shuyuan College within modern Chinese universities. This study argues that the construction model of the Shuyuan College in modern Chinese universities is externally diversified but imitative isomorphic at its core; that the training has multiple orientations, yet the core positioning remains vague; that the colleges are under the administration of dual systems, and thus challenging to collaborate between different institutions; that the colleges lie in the tensions between Confucian vs. Western culture as well as professional vs. general culture; and that the curriculum lacks an overall top-level design. Building upon these insights, this study explores the practical dilemmas and challenges related to spiritual connotation, organizational structure, endogenous motivation, and social recognition. Through an in-depth analysis of the theory and practice of the Shuyuan College of modern universities in China, this study aims to provide implications to enhance services for talented college students.
