普及化高等教育与精英高等教育的质量观存在显著差异,而其关键则在于大学生的就业与职业发展。本研究立足中国社会和高等教育情境,基于院校影响力理论,构建中国大学生职业发展的理论概念模型,并以此编制中国大学生职业发展问卷。问卷包含四个维度:作为过程的课程与教学、学生投入、大学治理环境,以及作为结果的学生职业发展。探索性因子分析和验证性因子分析证明问卷的结构与理论模型拟合良好;效标关联效度分析和信度分析进一步验证了问卷的质量。中国大学生职业发展问卷可作为我国在读大学生的职业发展测量工具。
Abstract:
There are significant differences in the quality between popular higher education and elite higher education, and the key lies in the employment and career development of college students. Based on the College Impact Theory and embedded in the context of Chinese higher education, this paper proposes a theoretical framework and instrument to understand and measure Chinese college students’ career development. It contains four dimensions, including curriculum and instruction, student engagement and university governance, and student career development. The first three refer to the education process, and the last one measures the education outcome. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis proves that the instrument structure fits well with the theoretical model. Criterion-correlated validity analysis and reliability analysis further validate the questionnaire. The Chinese College Students’ Career Development Survey can be used by higher education institutions to promote college students’ career development, and hence will play its role in re-steering the development of the Chinese higher education.
