摘要:
近年来,教育改进学在反思教育质量与效率变革的大潮中取得迅猛的发展,已逐步由一种理论话语转化为全球性的实践。它的核心价值指向拓展个体的自由发展和合作,帮助学习者具备实现有社会价值的生活与发展。教育改进学所面临的种种挑战,造成教育改进实践合法化和制度化的多重困境。本文通过审视教育改进在国内外的广泛探索和实践,例如卡内基教学促进基金会教育改进探索、巴尔的摩教育研究联盟教育改进项目以及教育改进学研究生专业项目与课程领先性的实践等等,并且从教育改进目标的多元与复杂、专业改进工作者的队伍建设、持份者差异、社群的认同与支持、文化建设、学科发展六个维度对教育改进学发展的困境与对策进行进一步思考。在此基础上,以自由与合作的哲学理念对教育改进学进行构建与展望,尝试创建具有中国特色的教育改进科学,呼唤其对教育乃至世界的特有贡献。
Abstract:
In recent years, Educational Improvement Science has made great advancement in the wave of rethinking educational reforms for quality and efficiency, and its practices have emerged from theoretical discourse worldwide. Its core value aims to unfold individual freedom and collaboration of development, equipping learners for a life and development enriched with social values. The challenges faced by Educational Improvement Science are multiple and become various impediments to prevent its practices from being legitimatized and institutionalized. This article reflects on these widely explored practices of educational improvement in the world, including China, and rethinks of their impediments and associated approaches with six key dimensions, i.e., the diversity and complexity of improvement objectives, teambuilding of improvers, stakeholders’ differences, recognition and support from communities, cultural building and disciplinary development. These practices include the improvement projects by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, by Baltimore Education Research Consortium, and some tryouts of graduate programs and courses of Educational Improvement Science. Based on these reflections, the article further constructs Educational Improvement Science from two philosophical ideas, i.e., freedom and collaboration, attempting to build an Educational Improvement Science with Chinese characteristics and anticipating its unique contributions to education and the world.
