职业素养是成人之本、立业之基,堪称无用之大用的“软技能”,是职场成功的第一力量,既是影响职校生就业质量的重要因素,也是衡量员工胜任力的职业标准,决定职场发展和人生高度,成为企业超越知识与技术的核心竞争力。随着技术进步带来的产业升级,在对劳动者体能、知识、技能要求有所降低的同时,对其职业素养要求却不断提升,技能转型推动劳动者终身学习,从传统社会注重“做事先做人”到现代社会强调“职业素养影响一生成就”,与职校“重技能轻素养”现状不相匹配。为此,职业教育要由重“一技之长”转变为综合素质和行动能力,在传承“工匠精神”的基础上提升综合素质,把职业素养教育作为技能人才培养的重要内容,体系上中专本整体构建;内容上伴随职业生涯与时俱进;途径上渗入行规企业文化,有效沟通学校生活和工作世界;方法上职业素养与技能学习融合,学思践悟技能文明,以良好的职业素养让职校生化茧成蝶,成为高素质技能人才。
Abstract:
Professional literacy is the foundation of individual development and career establishment, which can be considered as the “useless soft skills of great use”. It is the primary source of career success, not only as an essential factor affecting the employment quality of students from vocational schools and colleges but also as a professional standard of employees' competence. It determines individuals’ career development and height of life and constitutes enterprises’ core competitiveness beyond knowledge and technology. With technological progress and industrial upgrading, while the requirements for workers’ physical fitness, knowledge and skills have been reduced, the requirements for their professional literacy have been continuously improved. Skill transformation promotes lifelong learning for workers. It is also a long-time tradition to highlight worker's literacy, as exemplified in the traditional saying of “being a man before doing things” and the modern society emphasizing “professional literacy affects lifetime achievements”. However, vocational schools still emphasize skills over literacy, which contradicts the development trend. To this end, vocational education should shift its emphasis from “specialized skills” to comprehensive competence and the ability to take action, improve students’ comprehensive competence while inheriting the “craftsman spirit”, and make professional literacy essential in training skilled workers. To facilitate such development, it is necessary to initiate systematic reform of secondary and post-secondary vocational and technical education, update teaching content to keep pace with the requirements of career development, integrate industry regulations and corporate culture to facilitate effective communication between school life and labor market, integrate the cultivation of professional literacy and skill learning to enhance students’ understanding and internalizing professional spirits, so as so to equip students in vocational schools with good professional literacy and help them become high-quality skilled talents.
