Educational evaluation reform is a cutting-edge, worldwide, and historical difficulty and a dialectical relationship between “breaking” and “establishing.” It is an iterative evolution rooted in the recognition of the functions and purposes of educational evaluation, a self-awareness carrying the principals of people-oriented and educational equity, a joint construction to meet the needs of educational and assessment practices and a technical remodeling shaped by the frontiers of thinking change and intelligent operation. Exploring the rational logic of education evaluation reform in the new era from the perspectives of history, theory, practice and technology is of great significance to understand and promote education evaluation reform in the new era.
