The international trends of Joint, Double and Consecutive Degree programs emerge as the strategic choice in university planning, the preference for double degree rather than joint degree, the variation of academic levels in different countries or regions and the challenges. The practice of Joint, Double and Consecutive Degree programs in China is characterized with the double degree programs as the main cooperation type, the mutual recognition of credit as the main cooperation base, the double campuses as the main cooperation mode and the bring-in as the main cooperation direction, and is faced with the predicament of “export”, system and policy. We should take the routes as developing academic discourse system on the programs with Chinese style, building the law and regulations system, developing joint and double degree programs in China or abroad in new industrial disciplines and other predominant disciplines, signing much more mutual recognition agreements on degree and diploma, and setting up the quality assurance system of Joint, Double and Consecutive Degree programs among the Belt and Road Initiative countries.
